On Abortion
For many years, China had a “one child” policy. So what happened if a woman was having a second child? The government forced an abortion. On her. By force. It was inhumane.
In the United States, here and now, many states force women to carry babies. Abortion is illegal. Restricted. By force. It is also inhumane.
I must say that I don’t like abortion. We should all respect and cherish life. I think people who don’t want children should practice birth control. Under normal circumstances. And most people do.
Yet. When it is finally all said and done, a woman should have the final say as to what happens to her body. It is a fundamental human right.
Women should decide. No government, of any form or level, should decide for them. One way or the other. Each and every woman should have the right to decide. It is her right.
